EC: Gold for Spain, Serbia silver          

The Serbian national team was defeated by Spain 85:63 in the final match of the European Championship in Poland; Greece won the third place after defeating Slovenia 57:56 

Ivkovic: I have believed in this team from the start

 The Serbia basketball team coach Dusan Ivkovic said after the victory against Slovenia (96:92) in the semifinal match of the EC, that he had never lost faith in his team. 

Serbia welcomed basketball players

More than 20,000 people greeted the Serbian  national basketball team, at the traditional reception in front of  the City Town Hall. The national team coach Dusan Ivkovic stated that great future awaits this generation of basketball players and that it will spread the glory of Serbian basketball.

Basketball players are welcomed home on Monday at 18.00

The Serbian national basketball team, which has won the silver medal at the European Championship in Poland, will arrive in Belgrade on Monday, at 15.00, and a formal reception is scheduled for 18.00 in front of the City Town Hall.
